San Francisco’s energy and ambition is infectious and during this trip you will be lucky enough to experience the very best that it has to offer. SAN FRANCISCO INCENTIVE OVERVIEW

DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1: Thursday 8th March 2012

You will depart on the day flight from London Heathrow to San Francisco. The flight departs from the UK in the morning and lands into San Francisco in the afternoon.

On arrival into San Francisco, you will need to collect your bags and go through security before being met by the CPW San Francisco groundteam. They will be waiting for you in the Arrivals Hall with a Carphone Warehouse sign.

The ground team will then escort you to the waiting transfer which will transfer you straight into the vibrant centre of San Francisco and to the Clift Hotel, where staff will be on hand to assist with a speedy check in.

You will then have some time at leisure to relax and freshen up in your room, before meeting in the hotel reception ready to be taken to dinner.

After an all American dinner experience and a wonderful first taste of San Francisco hospitality, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 2: Friday 9th March 2012

After a refreshing night’s sleep and breakfast at the hotel, you’ll meet up with the rest of the group in the reception area, where the San Francisco ground team will be there to escort you to the waiting transfer.

The private coach will then drive everyone out to Silicon Valley, where you will spend and incredible day visiting several of the leading technology companies on the planet, who will host you with a range of inspiring presentations and workshops during a day that you are highly unlikely to forget.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a renowned restaurant in Cupertino, after which your Silicon Valley tech tour will continue.

At the end of the day you will then be transferred to one of California’s most famous restaurants for dinner and a chance to reflect on the unique day you will have just experienced.

The restaurant is about a 25min drive from the hotel, so once everyone has finished, the coach will transfer everyone back to the Clift Hotel, where you will have time to freshen up before hitting the legendary hotel bar, The Redwood Room, where there will be a tab running and drinks available for those that fancy sampling one of the hippest bars in the city.

Day 3: Saturday 10th March 2012

After a leisurely start this morning given the late night the day before, you’ll be able to clear your head with a breath of fresh air whilst you enjoy a short boat ride over to the world-famous Island of Alcatraz.

You will be transferred by coach down to the harbour where everyone will board the Alcatraz Cruise Boat. The journey across the bay, over to the Island is approx. 20mins.

On arrival to Alcatraz, you will be free to explore the Island at your own pace, aided by a headset and pre-recorded tour guide. The tour includes commentary from a number of different convicts and characters that experienced life on the Island, so you are guaranteed to enjoy a fantastic insight into one of the most iconic settings in America.

Once the tour is complete, the ground team will be on hand to make sure that everyone gets back to mainland safe and sound in time for lunch at Pier 39.

After lunch you will then have the afternoon at leisure to do whatever you would like to…so whether you choose to shop, sightsee, ride on the legendary cable cars or simply relax and soak up the scene in one of the many chilled out bars, you’re sure to have a great Saturday afternoon in San Francisco.

This evening’s dinner location will be relatively close to the hotel and therefore conveniently located near the nightlife epicentre of San Francisco - guaranteeing you are able to enjoy the best the city has to offer after dark.

Day 4: Sunday 11th March 2012

After a slightly earlier wake up call this morning, you will be transferred to a nearby charity project, where you will spend a few hours helping out and giving something back to the community through a local organisation that cares for the homeless. Breakfast boxes will be available for you to pick-up on your way out of the hotel in order to save time.

Once we have finished at the charity, a transfer will be on standby ready to take everyone out to Napa Valley for a fun-filled day of wine tasting, sommelier talks and vineyard tours. This area of California is rightfully famous for producing some of the best wines on the planet, so today will give you a fascinating insight into a selection of top-class vineyards.

After being transferred back to the hotel and freshening up, tonight’s dinner location won’t fail to impress, with stunning waterside views from its harbour-side setting and a quality of food and service to match - for a suitably impressive way to enjoy your final night in scintillating San Francisco.

Day 5: Monday 12th March 2012

This morning will be a very relaxed start for everyone. You will have the morning at leisure to enjoy some last minute shopping opportunities or alternatively you will be able to merely relax at the hotel before checking out at midday.

Lunch will be available for those that fancy a snack before heading off to the airport.

The transfer will ready to take everyone to the airport at approx. 14:30, so if you have decided to head into town for the morning, you will need to make sure you are back in plenty of time. The ground team will be on hand to assist with the transfer to the airport and check in.

The return flight is an overnight flight back to London Heathrow, arriving early on the morning of Tuesday 13th March.

I ALREADY HAVE AN ESTA…

If you have travelled to the USA since September 2010 you will have applied for a Visa Waiver ESTA already. ESTAs are valid for two years.

Check if your ESTA is still valid by entering your previous application number at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

If it is still valid then please make sure you print off a copy and bring it with you to the airport.

I DON’T HAVE AN ESTA…

If you have NOT travelled to the USA since September 2010:

It is now compulsory for everyone travelling to the USA to apply online for a Visa Waiver ESTA. The process is quick and will confirm acceptance immediately.

International travellers who are seeking to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are now subject to enhanced security requirements and will be required to pay an administrative fee. All eligible travellers who wish to travel to the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization and then pay the fee using the following website and process:

It is essential that you complete this before travelling to the United States. The cost for this is $14.00 USD.

Once you have completed the online form and it has been approved, please print off a version of the ESTA and bring it with you to the airport.

Please note the following information on ESTA:

ESTA is not a visa. It does not meet the legal requirements to serve in lieu of a U.S. visa when a visa is required. Travellers that possess a valid U.S. visa may travel to the United States on that visa for the purpose it was issued. Travellers traveling on valid visas are not required to apply for an ESTA. In the same way that a valid visa does not guarantee admission to the United States, an approved ESTA is not a guarantee of admission to the United States.

Approved ESTA applications are valid for a period of two years, or until the passport expires, whichever comes first, and multiple trips to the United States without the traveller having to re-apply for another ESTA. The ESTA travel information may be updated before each trip to the U.S. When traveling to the U.S. with the approved ESTA, you may only stay for up to 90 days at a time - and there should be a reasonable amount of time between visits so that the CBP Officer does not think you are trying to live here. There is no set requirement for how long you must wait between visits.

Daily Itinerary

DAY 1:

You have a choice of domestic airports; Edinburgh Airport, Newcastle Airport and Manchester Airport. If you require a seat to be reserved for you for the domestic flight, please indicate yours and your partners preferences in the registration form below. Please note that your bags will be checked through to Dubai.

Flight Details:

Departing your domestic airport, arriving into London Heathrow Terminal 5 (LHR).

Here you will transfer to your next flight to Dubai (no need to transfer terminals as your connecting flight to Dubai departs from Terminal 5). This is an overnight flight so you will have time to sleep on the flight and rest up for the weekend ahead.

DAY 2:

The moment you enter the airport terminal you’ll be greeted by our local partners who will Fast Track you through Customs & Immigration, for the most seamless and hassle-free start to your trip. A fleet of executive cars will then be waiting for you and your partner where you will be transferred in style to the Marriott Harbour Hotel.

For the best possible first experience of Dubai’s magnificent cityscape, we’ll whisk you up to the Observatory Restaurant on the 52nd floor of the Marriott, where you’ll be able to enjoy incredible panoramic views in all directions. Whilst your eyes are feasting on the amazing skyscrapers and scenery, your stomachs can feast on an amazing array of food, created by award-winning chefs for an introduction to Dubai that you are highly unlikely to forget.

Following your brunch, you will be transferred to your stunning 5-star hotel the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel , enjoying amazing views en route as you make your way onto the exclusive crescent of The Palm. Having checked in, you will then be able to enjoy the afternoon at leisure, making the most of Dubai’s incredible climate at your hotel’s private beach, complete with your own butler service. With an impressive outdoor infinity pool, floodlit tennis courts and an 8,000 square metre award winning spa, you’ll quickly forget any jet lag and feel fully relaxed.

That evening you’ll make the most of one of the hotel’s world-class restaurants - Plaj Resturant as you enjoy an extravagant welcome dinner on a palm-fringed beach with breathtaking panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.  With an expertly made Sundowner cocktail in hand, a selection of Dubai’s finest foods and a perfectly cooling breeze coming in from sea you couldn’t ask for a better end to your first day in Dubai’s ‘City of Gold.’

That evening you will be staying at the  Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel - your hotel for the remainder of the trip.

DAY 3:

After a refreshing night’s sleep, you will have breakfast at Imperium at the hotel. be ready by 10.00am as you will be met in the hotel lobby to pick up your transfers to the Jebel Ali Marina - the location of your activities for the day.

This morning you will get to experience the ultimate aerial view of Dubai, as you take off in a private seaplanes from the quiet waters of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort for an unbelievably exhilarating experience.

After your pilot has whisked you into the sky, you’ll have a unique opportunity to view the phenomenal skyscrapers that Dubai is famous for.From your private plane you’ll be within touching distance of The Palm Marina, The World and Palm Jebel Ali to name just a few. All this whilst actually flying below the mile-high height of the mighty Burj Dubai Tower, so there is no better way to appreciate one of the most amazing engineering feats in the world.

After a spectacular landing back on the water, you’ll have the option of enjoying the facilities at one of the top golf resorts in the Middle East or even playing 18 holes if you wish, before returning to your own hotel for some relaxation time before the evening’s activities.

At 20.00 you will transfer to the quay at Dubai Creek for dinner, where you will have a truly unique experience of Dubai coupled with a delicious meal. Step aboard a traditional wooden Dhow vessel , your floating restaurant for the evening, and enjoy a lavish dinner cruise during which you’ll experience the stunning calm waters of the Creek.

Throughout your cruise you will be treated to beautiful views of the contrasting old and new Dubai, with the impressive tall glass and chrome buildings housed in the business district on one side, and the old architectural beauty of the wind towers and traditional style buildings of the old city on the other side.

A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served on board, encompassing the finest foods from around the world and this will be accompanied by local music and entertainment for an evening to remember. Return to your hotel that evening, ready for tomorrows activities.

DAY 4:

After a leisurely morning enjoying the superb facilities of your hotel, today you’ll be able to discover the golden deserts of Arabia in style. Reconvene in the lobby at 14.45 where you be whisked off into Dubai’s desert.

During this exclusive excursion you will have the opportunity to explore a vast, silent ocean of golden-hued sand dunes in areas impossible to access by foot. With the help of impressively powerful off-road 4×4s and highly experienced drivers, you’ll journey into the hostile yet beautiful desert environment and feel a million miles from the city you left behind only a few hours ago.

As the day draws to a close you will then be transferred to a unique location, where you’ll be able to watch the sunset from the comfort of colorful Arabian carpets, with luxury cushions and flame torches providing the ideal setting to enjoy some delicious local date juice. A traditional falconry display will also be arranged for you at this point, allowing you to get a closer look at the national symbol of the United Arab Emirates.

For an unforgettable end to the day, tonight you will enjoy dinner in the Arabian desert, with a traditional dinner at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort. Rising up from the desert sand dunes like a mirage, Jumeirah Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa is an elegant and opulent retreat in a traditional Arabic setting and is home to the magnificent open-air restaurant – Al Hadheerah.

Here the mood of old Arabia is captured perfectly through lively entertainment provided by belly dancers, henna artists and live bands. You’ll then be able to immerse yourself further into the local culture with a guided visit to the souk area, where you’ll be able to sample unmistakable Arabic flavors. Back at the restaurant, you’ll have a private area within which to enjoy a feast of Middle Eastern cuisine, prepared in live cooking stations with wood-fired ovens, spit roasts and Arabic bread ovens, for a genuinely unique evening.

That evening you will be transfer back to the  Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel.

DAY 5:

After a leisurely morning and breakfast relaxing in your hotel, today you will be able to enjoy a chilled-out final full day in Dubai. To inject some fun into proceedings, in the late morning you’ll be transferred the short distance around The Palm to the Atlantis Hotel, where you’ll be able to spend the next few hours enjoying the largest and most exciting water park in the Middle East – Aquaventure.

Set over 42 acres of stunningly landscaped grounds, the incredible river rides, rapids, waterslides and other attractions of the park areguaranteed to bring out the child in you and ensure you have a truly fun-filled time and when you need a break from the action you can relax on a pristine 700-metre private beach.

Once you’ve had enough fun in the water, you’ll be able to spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, either soaking up some final sun or a spa treatment at your hotel or taking a taxi into the city to enjoy some world-class retail therapy in one of Dubai’s fantastic malls.

To make your final night an unforgettable experience, tonight you will be transferred to one of the most famous hotels on the planet – the Burj al Arab – which is rightfully regarded as the most luxurious hotel in the world. Designed to resemble a billowing sail, the Burj soars to a height of 321 metres and dominates the skyline at night, when it is lit up by choreographed lighting that mimics water and fire. This will therefore be the perfect setting for your final evening in Dubai.

To kick off the evening in style, you’ll be able to enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the property’s Skyview Bar, which is suspended 200 metres above sea level and therefore offers jaw-dropping views over both the water and Dubai’s dramatic cityscape. Following on from this you’ll then be whisked away to the amazing setting of a private room on the 54th floor of the hotel – which will be a simply magical place within which to enjoy a gala dinner to celebrate the very special experiences you will all have shared over the course of the last few days.

That evening you will be transfer back to the  Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel, for your final night’s sleep in Dubai.

DAY 6:

After enjoying a final leisurely morning luxuriating within the opulent surroundings of your hotel you will check-out and be transferred back to the International Airport for your departure flight back to the UK. Please ensure that you are checked out and ready to leave the hotel by 06.45 in order to avoid any delays.

On your arrival at the airport our representatives will assist you to ensure you have the smoothest possible check-in etc, so all you will then have to worry about before boarding your flight is some last-minute shopping in the famous Dubai Duty Free Complex.

Here you will transfer to your domestic flight (not need to transfer terminals as your connecting flight will be departing from Terminal 5).
