How do you summarise the world’s largest country? There are countless natural, historical and cultural attractions, making Russia a must see destination. Where to start? Fear not Black Tomato Events have chosen the centre point of the Russian state, Moscow. This ancient city boasts a compact historical centre and our three night incentive trip comprises of not only the classic evocative sites of Moscow but also some more unique and unusual experiences.
Daily Itinerary:
DAY 1 - Arrival in Moscow
After being transferred to the 5* Ritz Carlton Hotel located only moments from Red Square, guests are greeted to a warm Russian welcome with ice keys and vodka.
The group is escorted to the world renowned Red Square, a site containing Lenin’s tomb, and the surreal multi-coloured onion-domes of St. Basil’s Cathedral where pre-dinner cocktails can be enjoyed.
Dinner follows at one of Moscow’s oldest establishments, the Uzbekistan restaurant, embodying a traditional Russian atmosphere with waiters in National costume.
DAY 2 – Cosmonauts & Communists
This morning is spent at the fascinating Star City cosmonaut-training centre. Highlights include visiting the hydro laboratory, the replica of MIR space station and the SOJUS space craft. There is the opportunity to live out those dreams of being an astronaut, the sensation of zero gravity, an exhilaration usually reserved for the elite (and a few Billionaires too!)
Following this lunch will be served at the Cosmonaut canteen.
This afternoon the team will be transferred to Stalin’s bunker, hidden in a Moscow suburb. The bunker has been painstakingly restored according to historical documents. The bunker is part of a large underground complex, connected to the Kremlin by a 17km speed road. The group will be invited to a Vodka tasting whilst inside the bunker.
Dinner is taken at the Café Pushkin Restaurant, located in a private 18th century mansion with an elegant, historical atmosphere. It is considered by many as the best restaurant in Moscow, serving classic French and Russian cusine.
DAY 3 - Real Russia
Today the group will be divided into small groups, to get to know the city. Each group will follow instructions to find their way around this energetic city using different modes of transport.
To aid their adventure all groups will be accompanied by an English speaking guide.
Every group will have a unique dinning experience, lunch with a Russian family to learn and understand the Moscovite way of life.
This evening dinner is served at the GQ Restaurant and bar, one of Moscow’s smartest nightspots. Owned by renowned restaurateur Arkady Novikov, serving a well executed menu.
Day 4 – Kremlin & Guriev
This morning guests visit the iconic and cavernous red-walled Kremlin with it’s incredible complex of palaces, churches and museums. The team will be guided through its fascinating historical area.
