SOLUTION
Our solution was to provide an exhilarating 2 day driving experience around Milan in state-of-the-art sports cars, exploring the buzz of Milan and its wonderful surrounding scenery. We sourced a range of ‘supercars’, including the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, the Maserati Gran Turismo and the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.
Guests were immersed in luxury from the beginning of their trip- staying at Milan’s premier urban luxury hotel. On the first full day, guests chose a car and set off on route to Lugano, which lies partly in Italy and partly in Switzerland, stopping in the beautiful old town of Bellinzona, before continuing along the shores of Lake Lugano and Lake Varese, amid splendid mountain and lake scenery as well as traditional lakeside villages. Dinner that night was at a Michelin-star restaurant famed for its fresh Italian haute-cuisine and innovative interior design. Then it was on to Dolce and Gabbana’s “Gold”- the conceptual Milanese bar and restaurant entirely decorated in gold: from the golden bamboo bathroom to the labels on the water bottles. This is the ultimate in refined luxury and certainly a venue that will stay in the memories of the guests for years to come.
The Italian Lakes
The second day brought another scenic drive, this time to the beautiful Lake Como, stopping for lunch in Bellagio. Set in a splendid position at the apex of the ‘Larian triangle’ where two arms of the lake converge, guests could admire the spectacular views from the restaurant’s terrace, overlooking the lakes and lunch green banks whilst enjoying cuisine prepared by an award-winning chef. The second leg of the route took guests along scenic roads passing through Monza, home to the Italian Grand Prix.
