The brief was to propose a suitably impressive venue and itinerary for a 3 day conference to be attended by a group of top international delegates. Our client wanted the delegates to experience the culture and vibrancy of the city of Istanbul.

SOLUTION
Our solution was to prepare a sensory experience in Istanbul to impress, educate and inspire delegates. We chose a hotel for their meetings that perfectly combined oriental opulence with ultra-modern western technology.
Istanbul Mosque
The itinerary we provided included a guided tour around the famous Ortakoy Mosque located on the shores of Bosphorus, a chance to try the traditional Turkish hookah pipes and dine on a wide variety of cuisines , from sushi to traditional Mediterranean fare, at one of Istanbul’s best and most beautiful restaurants. Delegates also enjoyed a walking tour of the Old City, taking in The Hippodrome, originally constructed in 203 BC and home of the famous chariot races, and the Blue Mosque, one of Istanbul’s most iconic buildings. Delegates also visited Aghia Sophia, the Byzantine cathedral church built in 537AD which dominates the Istanbul skyline as well as the city’s architectural history. After all that VIP sight-seeing, the delegates enjoyed a well-deserved Turkish bath, followed by a traditional Turkish scrub and massage treatment.
Borsphorous sunset
On the final evening, delegates boarded a deluxe yacht and enjoyed a tranquil night cruise along the Bosphorus River, admiring Istanbul in all its grace with beautifully lit monuments and a variety of city lights bejeweling the shore. The yacht brought the delegates to The Maiden’s Tower: a unique site along the Bosphorus, jutting out from the rocky terrain. The tower functioned as a fort, lighthouse, a prison and an isolation hospital during Byzantine and Ottoman times. Here the delegates enjoyed a superb dinner, relishing the stunning views afforded by the tower.
