The brief was to put together an adventurous, once-in-a-lifetime experience in a truly inspirational destination where our client could fulfil their meeting’s objectives yet experience luxury entertainment and take part in exhilarating activities.

SOLUTION
Our programme was a 5 night extravaganza across Iceland, offering the finest cuisine, service and activities available.
The group were immersed in luxury from the moment they stepped off the plane: delegates were met by one of our expert guides and transferred by luxury private vehicle to the finest boutique hotel in the heart of Reykjavik.
Their first expedition was a thrilling drive through raging glacial rivers and ancient lava fields on their own Super Quad ATV, across ‘The Valley of the Black Sand’: some of the most beautiful and challenging terrain they will ever see. After this breathtaking ride, delegates were able to relax and enjoy exclusive use of The Blue Lagoon, the world’s largest naturally thermal pool.
The excitement didn’t stop there as the next day, delegates took to the cold glacial water to dive between the North American and Euro-Asian Tectonic Plates, regarded by divers to be amongst the best dive sites in the world and an experience that the delegates are sure to remember forever. This was followed by a caving expedition through an Icelandic Lava Tube, situated in one of the most active volcanic areas in the world. Not one for the faint-hearted!
During the evening, delegates dined in one of Iceland’s premier restaurants, and were taken around the bars and clubs in VIP style. Early the next day the group were taken on a walking and trekking expedition on one of Iceland’s largest glaciers. Once they scaled the ice walls of the glazier, they found a well-deserved sumptuous sushi lunch awaiting them, to enjoy whilst taking in the stunning, icy vistas. Following lunch the group continued on to the top of the glacier by ‘Super’ Jeep to the Snowmobile station where they boarded their snowmobile and ventured off to the wilds of an Icelandic Glacier. The delegates were allowed to race their snow machines at speed over the vast expanse of the glacier where there is nothing around except undisturbed scenery and incredible views.

Yet more unique experiences were to be had, including a trip via ‘Super’ Jeep to an extremely rugged national park surrounded by mountains, glaciers scattered with glacial rivers, and a trip to The Stakkholtsgja Gorge where the group had to cross many rivers and go behind waterfalls by foot to make it in and out of the extremely narrow and visually spectacular ravine.
On the final day, the delegates were taken by private boat to a remote island, directly off the coast of Reykjavik where they had their business meeting in an 18th century building famed for being the first house in Iceland to be built from stone. Following the meeting, the group had lunch in the island’s restaurant: a perfect send off from what was surely an unforgettable trip.
